About the Role
We are seeking an Engagement Manager to join our AWS Professional Services team in Taiwan. In this role, you will manage and deliver AWS cloud consulting engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will serve as the primary point of contact between AWS and the customer during active engagements, driving project execution while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
Key job responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of AWS Professional Services engagements, including project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and status reporting
- Serve as the primary customer-facing delivery lead, building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders at technical and managerial levels
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including AWS consultants, architects, partners, and customer teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain delivery excellence
- Facilitate regular project governance cadences including steering committees, status reviews, and retrospectives
- Track engagement financials including revenue recognition, margin management, and forecasting
- Support engagement scoping and proposal development for new opportunities in collaboration with ProServe Account Executives and Solution Architects
- Drive adoption of AWS Professional Services delivery methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Contribute to customer success by identifying opportunities to expand AWS adoption and recommend additional services
- Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture fundamentals; AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting delivery model, including SOW/contract management and change order processes
- Knowledge of the Taiwan enterprise market and business culture
- Experience managing engagements in regulated industries (financial services, government, or manufacturing)
- Experience with delivery management tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project)
