Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager, Audience, to serve as the voice of the audience and drive Prime Video’s audience-centric marketing and growth strategies. In this pivotal role, you’ll facilitate the transformation of Prime Video’s relationship with audiences by developing scaled strategies and marketing initiatives grounded in their needs, motivations, and barriers. You’ll act as the strategic architect, relationship builder, and audience champion while demonstrating customer obsession and serving as the bridge with cross-functional partners including Business, Product, Studios, Sports and the Service Strategy team.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise marketing strategies and campaigns, a proven track record of earning trust through cross-functional leadership, and data-driven approach to synthesizing insights into compelling strategies and approaches. You’ll dive deep into developing and evolving audience-specific strategic frameworks, directing campaigns that drive differentiated entertainment experiences across Prime Video, and bridging workstreams across the organization that enable audience-first thinking. This role offers the opportunity to think big and shape Prime Video’s audience relationships through strategic territories, learnings, and innovation. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with flawless execution, while demonstrating strong leadership abilities in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Own longitudinal demographic strategy for priority audiences – building from blank-slate ambiguity to fully realized audience growth plan that influence cross-functional stakeholders like Studios, Sports, Product, Business Strategy – and translate complex, multi-segment strategies into compelling narratives that drive decision-making from senior leadership to day-to-day execution
• Proactively identify forward-looking audience opportunities and develop multi-year strategies and frameworks that shape org-level priorities
• Develop audience intelligence frameworks that become the operating language needed – shaping how teams think about audience strategy and ensuring narratives are adopted as shared decision-making tools, not just read-outs
• Serve as the go-to audience voice across the org – participating in upstream decisions before problems are brought to solve, driving behavior change and building coalitions that shift thinking
• Translate audience receptivity signals, behavioral data, and cultural insights into strategic recommendations that influence cross-functional roadmaps—partnering closely with Insights teams to synthesize existing research and identify gaps, connecting audience intelligence to business outcomes at the highest levels
• Deliver work that sets a new standard—creating replicable models and scalable self-service resources that enable partners to operate with audience-first thinking independently, anticipating downstream needs before they surface
• Drive fast, effective and date-driven cross-functional decision-making – knowing when to push for speed and when to hold the line on audience authenticity, using backbone and conviction to protect the integrity of audience-informed strategies
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with global peers to share knowledge and scale impact - Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, campaign development, and audience journey mapping
- Track record of measurable business impact through marketing programs and initiatives, particularly in building authentic relationships with customers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
