We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high-volume production methods—delivering safe, reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires software engineers & hardware engineers, who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio—from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environment. <h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3> We’re looking for a Senior Structural Analyst to join our team in Atlanta! <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Perform structural analysis and mentor engineers using classical hand analysis techniques and finite element modeling.</li> <li>Peer review structural analysis reports, support test planning/execution, and participate in design reviews.</li> <li>Communicate pros/cons of system architecture with respect to structural and mechanical systems considerations. Strong focus on good architecture to ensure designs are robust in nature</li> <li>Work with aero/CFD engineers and others to define loads for aircraft structure and subsystems</li> <li>Support vehicle airworthiness efforts through both analysis and testing</li> <li>Present status at formal reviews with Customer and internally. Technical status, risk tracking, inputs to program planning, etc.</li> <li>Create test models, define test loads, requirements and margins, and oversee structural testing</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering or a hard science with a focus in structures</li> <li>Deep understanding of classical static analysis techniques and materials</li> <li>8+ years of experience performing structural analysis</li> <li>Demonstrated history mentoring engineers and leading analysis efforts</li> <li>Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision</li> <li>Very organized and willing to establish scope and requirements for ill-defined problems</li> <li>Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management and requirements Verification and Validation</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Structural analysis experience with both mechanisms and composite structure</li> <li>Strong foundation with finite element analysis</li> <li>Supported qualification activities for aerospace structure</li> <li>Structural testing experience</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range">$126,000—$167,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
