These projects require Integration and Test Engineers with hands-on experience to drive the delivery of hardware-focused capabilities to our customers. Anduril I&T Engineers rapidly develop expertise in new domains in order to architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve next generation capabilities through the entire product life-cycle. <h3>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h3> <ul> <li>Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts</li> <li>Support design and integration of AUV mechanical subsystems and components, ensuring proper interfaces with electronic and software systems</li> <li>Develop, build and operate physical integration environments and test fixtures to support system maturity efforts</li> <li>Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions</li> <li>Provide mechanical subject matter expertise to test operations for AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis</li> <li>Write, review, and execute detailed test procedures to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV subsystems, platforms and new capabilities</li> <li>Support infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs</li> <li>May be in the field up to 20% of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing</li> </ul> <h3>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, a relevant field, or equivalent experience</li> <li>A genuine interest and 4+ years of professional experience working with one or more of the above domains and system integration and testing</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities, competing constraints, and rapid iteration cycles</li> <li>Hands-on experience with tools, fabrication techniques, and practical assembly processes</li> <li>Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis methodologies</li> <li>Extremely organised and detail-oriented</li> <li>Excellent verbal & written communication skills</li> <li>A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance</li> </ul> <h3>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems), or vehicle level testing (any domain)</li> <li>Experience with the design, implementation and support of robotic and/or autonomous systems</li> <li>Experience working within the defence, maritime and/or aerospace domains</li> <li>Experience with Siemens NX</li> <li>Experience with manufacturing processes and DFA/DFM principles</li> <li>Experience with Linux and command line interfaces, or basic electrical systems and their integration with mechanical components</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
